In many cases clients are unprepared or unable to care for the necessities of daily life. In these instances the case manager works with the client and the other CARE team members to see that basic needs are met. We also assist clients in carrying out everyday tasks by providing classroom education and hands-on training in both a community setting and in the client's home.
- Obtaining medical and dental services.
- Locating safe, clean, affordable housing.
- Finding assistance from social services agencies.
- Understanding the community transportation system.
- Maintain personal hygiene.
- Performance of household chores (cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping)
- Budgeting finances
- Development of social and independent living skills
Protective Payee Services: With the permission of the client, Behavior Management Systems can act as their individual financial manager by collecting Social Security and Supplemental Security Income payments, paying bills, and keeping a close record of where money is spent for personal items.
