Our Mainstream Residential program provides a safe living environment for adults recovering from major mental illnesses. Our facility provides housing for 24 individuals as they acquire the skills needed to successfully live independently. Through a structured environment, we are able to assist clients with social and recreational activities; provide education on basic living skills like meal planning and preparation; and ensure medication is properly administered.
Over the course of a few months, we help clients transition into their own living arrangements. Case managers will link clients to appropriate community services as well as assist the client in locating housing. Housing options may include living with a roommate or living alone in housing of their choice. If more supervision is needed, as their first step towards independent living, many clients choose to move into one of the 17 units of a Behavior Management Systems owned apartment building located on the same block as our Mainstream facility.
