At any given time, over five percent of the adult population in the U.S. will experience a mental illness so pressing it will interfere with their ability to function. About half of these people have a serious, long-term illness like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or serious anxiety disorders. At Behavior Management Systems we help people with major mental illnesses recover through our Mainstream/IMPACT-West Division. The backbone of our program is our CARE (continuous assistance, rehabilitation and education) services but we also include life skills and social activities; vocational services; and residential & housing services. We also provide psychiatric assessment, medication management, and educational information.
