...to the 15th Annual Festival of Trees Preview Party & Auction on November 16, 2012, in the Rushmore Hall at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.
The Preview Party is an elegant kickoff event to the holiday season. The party begins with the social hour and the exclusive opportunity to view beautifully decorated holiday trees and wreaths. During the Silent Auction, you can bid on a variety of "Stocking Stuffers" to help you with your holiday shopping. Our 1st Stocking Auction will be held. Highest bidder will be announced Saturday, November 17th, at 3:50 pm. Need not be present to win.
Following dinner and a short program, the highlight of the evening takes place when the live auction conducted by Martin Jurisch begins. Winning bidders have their tree delivered at the conclusion of the weekend festival.
Proceeds from all Festival of Trees activities go to help Behavior Management Systems provide services in five areas:
- Children with serious emotional and behavioral problems.
- Adults with major mental illness.
- Suicide intervention.
- Crisis stabilization.
- A substance abuse treatment and prevention program for pregnant women and women with children.
Attendance is limited. Registrations received by October 22 receive a $10 discount/ticket. Holiday attire is encouraged.
